Welcome to what is my first personal blog!  If I had known how to use wordpress back when I created PokerMarketingStar.com I would have probably just made it a personal blog from the start.  I love reading other gambling affiliate blogs and thought I would start my own for a couple reasons. Having a blog may help newer affiliates learn a thing or two, people who are interested in what I am up to can read up here, and it will also help keep me and my affiliate business in check.

I moved all of my blogroll links from my main page to the blog, and will have to notify everyone who had a link up there – and hopefully get my link switched pointing to this blog.  I am still very new and dumb when it comes to wordpress and I will have to mess around in the future getting a nicer layout for the blog.

I will probably include an about me page on the blog, but for those who don’t know me I will give you a short intro.  My name is Kevin and I got into poker affiliating around October 2007.  It wasn’t until about February of 2008 when I got a hang of things, as I was completely new to creating a website and everything else that affiliate’s need to have the knowledge of.  I expanded into other affiliate areas in 2009 mostly sticking with gambling verticals (casino, sports, bingo), but also got into other affilaite markets a little bit too.  Affiliate income has been basically my only source of income for the past couple years and I hope to keep it that way .

I have heard other affiliates promise to post to their blog everyday, every other day, etc but it usually doesn’t end up happening becuase we are all busy people that don’t want to be writing everyday – but I will try and post to this affiliate blog frequently – enjoy!
